A Cathedral

I came upon this gothic-style Unitarian Church in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.  Construction was started on the church around 1900--about the same time as the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C..  I'm going to try and go inside when I go back next month.

I didn't realize that I had captured the shadows of the flying buttresses until I uploaded the photos to my computer.

Beautiful spire rising toward heaven.

The following three photos are by a Dana Morris who, apparently, is a member of the church.

I can only imagine the joyful noise this pipe organ makes.

Beautiful stained glass windows.

This angel is cradling a replica of the church.

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!
